MOSAIC: Modernization of Special Airworthiness Certification

MOSAIC is the FAA’s major update to Light-Sport Aircraft (LSA) and Sport Pilot regulations. It replaces old weight-based limits with modern, performance-based standards that make flying more accessible, affordable, and technologically current.
